1.FC Koeln is set to sign former Bayern Munich Keeper Michael Rensing. According kicker Rensing will join the Geissboecke in January. The 26-year-old shot stopper played for Munich until summer, but wasn't offered a new engagement by Munich.
Koeln. 2011 may be a great year for Michael Rensing. After six months without any professional football the Goalie will join 1.FC Köln. He will replace Faryd Mondragon who's close to a departure to Philadelphia Union. Rensing's contract will end in June - but there is the possibility for him to resign for another season.
Eichner leaves Hoffenheim for Koeln
Also, Hoffenheim's left back Christian Eichner will join Koeln in winter. The 28-year-old German will switch on loan for six months - with an option to buy. Eichner made 93 official appearances in Bundesliga.
